Hi, and welcome to DC,
As far as hotels, you can stay on-site for about the same price for a moderate, or even less for an All-Star. If you need the suite, though, stick with your original reservation. Regarding Cirque du Soleil, the show is called La Nouba, and we saw it in July. You can get tickets, regardless of where you're staying, by calling (407)WDisney and talking to a CM. It's a fantastic show, and, as I've mentioned elsewhere on these boards, it's a must-see if you're going to WDW. I enjoyed it even more than when I saw Lion King on Broadway.
