posiclemom, welcome to DisneyCentral. We always have to book a 2 bedroom, that is why we joined Disney Vacation Club. We couldn't afford to go to WDW anymore and stay onsite, but by staying at OKW, the room is very affordable, and we are still onsite.
You may want to be careful buying Disney passes from anyone but Disney. They don't sell the passes to anyone at a discount, so many of the places selling Disney passes are buying them from other sources, and there is a chance they could be counterfit or partially used. As far as passes for other attractions, most of them sell passes wholesale to resorts and travel agencies, so you should be ok.
