For value resort I'd vote Pop Century. Coronado Springs for moderate (can't recommend PO as I've never seen them). For Delux, either AKL as it's the best ;) or GF to be on the monorail. I would suggest they put as much money into lodging as possible as I view it as an intergral part of the Disney experience rather than as just a place to sleep in between the "real" vacation BUT that would be contingent on the person visiting feeling that way too -- if they didn't, then they should just stay at PC and save their $ for other things.
