Oct is great to go. We went last year and we are going again this year in Oct. You should check the MNSSHP (Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party). There is a whole thread on here about it with lots of pictures. It has the title MNSSHP - check it out. They give out candy, take pictures of you and mail them back to your house, you can ride all the rides that are open, meet the characters in costume, watch special spooky fireworks, a special Halloween parade, see all kind of ghosts, goblins, and scary music in the park, and party at the dance spots. It's great. You can probably get a costume at DTD at the Disney Store. There were lots of adults who were dressed up and some who weren't.
But you have to get the tickets for the nnight you want as soon as they go on sale. It is a separate hard ticket event, and it is only for 13 nights in October, and it sells out fast. It is a primo event. It and the Very Merry Christmas Party in December Sell out in a Hurry, so if you want to go pick a date now and plan to buy the ticket for that date when it goes on sale. The only place you can get it is straight from Disney. There is another thread on here that has the MNSSHP dates. I think it is called MNSSHP dates. lookfor it to get the dates. There are more dates at the end of the mmonth than at the beginning of the month.
