Flaim Bait: An intentionally inflammatory posting in a newsgroup or discussion group, designed to elicit a strong reaction and to create a flame war.
Flame War: When an online discussion degenerates into a series of personal attacks against the debaters, rather than a discussion of their opinions and positions. A heated exchange. Also known as a Holy War.
