If you want a somewhat cool and Nice hotel to stay at while at DLR and its not a Disney Hotel I would suggest possibly staying at The Castle Inn, (
www.castleinn.com). Ive stayed there before and Is a pretty nice hotel with good sized rooms for a reasonable price and it has an Awsome View of DLR from the Entrance side and if you have a room that faces the parks you can watch the firework shows from your room! Say you have young kids and you want to take them back to the hotel to get some sleep but they want to watch the fireworks, weeell if you have a DLR view room (which alot of the rooms have this view) you can watch them from your hotel room! :-) :-). Just thought Id say sumthing about it. There are also many other good and nicer hotels around the area, some more expensive, some cheaper in price.
