Re: Hogbins go to Florida
Thank goodness I had something done before I left as far as a TR goes. We had a GREAT time. We got to do almost everything we wanted to. The kids got to do everything on their lists and I only had a couple things that I didn't get to cross off my list but that's because I spent about 3 hours of my MK time in the First Aide Station being threatened to be sent to the hospital if I didn't perk up soon. If it wasn't for that slight glitch I would say our trip was next to perfect.
Plus when we got to the hotel room our last night there was a message that the train would NOT be taking us home because of hurricane Jeanne so we had to drive home at the last minute. So our Chef Mickey and parasailing got axed at the last minute because we needed the driving time.
Let's see - Just so you all know, no matter how much complaining I may do about my DH in this TR I do love him - BUT - he is the biggest pain in the butt sometimes. You remember the song - "every party has a pooper, that's why we invited you (insert name)" well DH fits that very well. He's very much like Mr. Spock, everything must be logical. And spending $70 for a character breakfast makes no sense to him. So there were some tense moments. At one point we had a "fight" in the car and the kids were so shocked, we just don't fight much. But that was Friday night jut before leaving when we were all tired and getting grumpy.
I promise a FULL TR soon. I don't want to spoil all of the report but DD went to the doctor today and has pneumonia so that explains the pesky cough keeping her and ME awake most nights in FL. She is now thankfully on antibiotics. I also have a sinus infection so I feel like I've been run over a few times and left on the side of the road in the heat.
We did have a great time and I'll try to post a day at a time on here so everyone can read it in order.
