Many years ago we stayed at the Candy Cane Inn next door to DL. We were a little uneasy about it. I mean the name alone. But to our complete surprise this place turned out to be the best place we could have stayed at. The decor, inside and out, had nothing to do with candy canes or Christmas. The pool was fantastic, their continental breakfast was actually a complete and FREE breakfast. The rooms were very nice. And it was very inexpensive. Hmmm, I wonder if the place is still around.
