Hi Dina,
Our family has done all the above. As far as dress goes, it's really all about preference. I've seen people come in shorts, and then I've seen people come all dressed up.
Our family has always dressed according to the weather. When it's hot and humid, shorts, and tennis shoes would be just fine . Whatever you choose, I know you will have a great time!!!
And about the time, I would give yourself enough time, especially going to the Hoop-Dee-Doo. I have read to give yourself between 60-to 90 minutes time for transportation. My way of thinking is better to be ahead of schedule, than late. Just have a great time!!!
