Speaking of embarassing children. I have to share this story.
The threshhold from being "cool" to "embarassing" must happen around 8 years old.
My daugher just turned 8.
I swear 2 weeks ago I was "cool" to my daughter, but yesterday we were riding in the car with her friend, and I was playing Christmas Carols. Well, Feliz Navidad (or whatever) came on so I turned it up, and was singing along and dancing. (All kinda silly like)
NORMALLY - my daughter would of laughed and joined in. The little friend would of too.
BUT - this time they both acted as though I was insane or something.
It was SO not right. I'm still cool, right?? It's the children that have gotten lame.
*sigh*

I LOVE THAT SONG~~~~ I will make my DD dance with me when I hear it and demand to be dipped...lolol OH I am only cool when it's me and her...she gets nervous when friends are there....I don't do any of my zany antics when they are around...well most of them....lololol I still do most and her one girlfirend will skip with me..lol I'm still zany enough to be fun as long as I don't go over the top like put the really big bras on my head to see if my head can fit in the cup..lololololl I save that little fun for me and my DD. She giggles evertime we go near the department..lol You're still cool ERin. The kids are the ones who are getting lame... Wait till they are teens and we are a total embarrasment.
