Hey Trish! Just a couple of things I've heard/experienced:

1. I always wear my jewelry (since it's all Disney anyway!) & have never had any problems. My DD even wore warm-ups with snaps all down the legs & never had any problems. One time she did, however, wear one of those belts with the double row of metal eyes all around it & wound up having to take it off before they would let her through.

2. With the new machines your checked luggage has to go through DO NOT put your unexposed film in checked luggage. Keep it in your carry on stuff & you'll be fine. As far as electronics, also carry those on. You'll probably be asked to remove them from their cases & maybe even have to turn it on so they see it works, but other than that...

3. I'm hearing them say not to lock your luggage, but just can't bring myself to do that. I bought some MM locks that were relatively inexpensive at WDW & put them on. I figure if the have to break in for some reason they can & the locks will be easily replaced. But I don't like the idea of a zipper catching on something & all the contents of my luggage spilling all over the place. Also, it makes it just that more difficult for someone to reach in & take something out.
