Hi imfsimm! Don't worry about your long post...we LOVE to read posts and help out all we can!
It looks like most of your questions have been addressed...but I wanted to second Disneywife's suggestion to eat at Redd Rockett's in Tomorrowland. I miss the Chicken Fucilli SO BAD, my mouth waters just thinking about it!!

Sooo good. For good food in DCA, try Taste Pilot's Grill. I hear the hot dogs at Award Wieners in DCA are also excellent. (They sure smell great!)
Most two-way radios will work within one park (stretching them across 2 parks is usually pushing it for the cheaper models), but be sure if you use them that you denote a code word/words. TONS of people use the radios to keep in touch with their group, and you'll find that a lot of times other families will come through on the same frequency!

Can get very confusing. So make sure everyone in your group knows which frequency to stay on, and what "code name" or "code word" to use when calling the rest of the group. That way you'll know you're communicating with the right "Mom" and not someone else's!
If you can think of anymore questions, don't be afraid to ask! P.S. Welcome to DC!
