I have stayed at those "by the hour" but have paid by the nite
only because I was too lazy to drive home after going to Disney. I would also go to orbitz or priceline like caver, or expedia. Motel 6 are nice and are only around $20 a nite. I would really consider going to choicehotels.com they have great choices and some resorts have their own websites with cheaper rates. Hope this helps, or send me a PM if you need any more help.
