I have used Southwest once and got good prices, but what is important and I swear by this, you have to get your tired butt up and be ready to go a few minutes past midnight. A certain amount of cheap tickets are there for the taking (I don't know how they work it) And I already did this with Song Airlines. They let you book 331 days out, longer than most I think. I called them a couple of times to verify when my dates would be open, got my lazy butt out of bed and waited a few minutes. I did our departure flight first then had to wait a few more days for Arrival. Ended up getting seats that I picked, non-stop for $69.00 a piece with tax it will be $150.00 per round trip. I check daily justto see whats up and all my dates Dec 23 and January 3 are both now $249.00 one way! My theory may be wrong, about doing it a few minutes after midnight, I have done it four times now and I have had the same luck. You people with less options are at a disadvantage, good luck with you airfare
