We booked through US Air BUT on United planes. I felt pretty comfortable with that, plus, we were flying during all that XMAS hullaboo and we weren't affected at all. I booked through Expedia, and they will tell you that it's a US Air ticket but serviced by United. Best of all, you get the US Air prices.

I would not fly on Southwest unless the savings was enough to make it really worth it. Their cattle call methods are just not appealing to me at all when flying with kids.
