I want tell a little story to better explain just how good someone like Quicksilver is (and no I am not a Quicksilver shareholder). We are flying out in April and it cost us about $675 for 5 rt tickets which I think is a good deal.
Quicksilver is picking us up in Orlando, taking us to the grocery store, droping us off at PC, picking us up at the BWV and taking us back to the airport for probably $140 including tip. Again reasonable in my opinion and given the excellent service, a great value.
Yesterday, I set up our car service (Airbrook, a good company) to take us to La Guardia in NYC for our flight out. It is $322 including tip plus $3 to $9 for parking. A mean, come on... what a rip!
And the customer service stunk. The woman couldn't wait to get me off the phone. When I asked for a carseat - nope, bring your own. It was your typical NYC BS.
So next time you use Quicksilver or another fine car service, be a little extra nice. They deserve it.
