Pirate Cruise at Grand Floridian

Last month my two DS (ages 9 and 4) went on the Pirate Cruise at GF- (we weren't guests at GF). They had a very good time- even my nine year old. He is a pretty cool kid but can get in on the Disney magic- so he said he liked it, but would say that the upper age for this trip is 9. It was very safe with all children required to wear a life vest throughout the whole experience. The kids got Mickey-eared pirate hats (which I saw at Downtown Disney for $10) , lunch, and a goodie bag of "treasures". The trip itself was about 2 hours and just long enough for me to spend some time resort hopping on the monorail. I would say that the ideal age is 4-8 from the feedback from my sons. They were excited to give their opinions on DC!
