I like the Golden Horseshoe during the day, when there is no show playing. It's quiet and cool, a nice break for kids and adults alike. Burgers are tasty, but for me the 'value' is in being able to sit and talk with my family for a while.
I always make a point of eating at Bengal BBQ--from big salads to kebabs, something for any size appetite and the food is filling, but not heavy.
Nothing beats a DL corndog! There used to be a cart at the end of main Street, but I have only found them at the Corn Dog Palace (???) in DCA. Big, crunchy and just greasy enough :)
I could eat my way through DL, lol.
