Jason...the packages with meals works like this:

You get 3 meals a night (5 nights=15 meals) for the Gold plan. You can use them for any meal. WDW plans on 2 meals the day of arrival and 1 meal the day of departure...but you can use them any way you want. When they are gone, they are gone. Keep in mind that they will not refund the meals that you don't eat.

or

2 flex features a night (5 nights= 10 flex features) for the Silver plan. These features can be used for meals, recreation, or gifts.

You can use your features (or meals) at almost all counter-service or table-service restaurants on property. They cannot be used for food carts or Victoria & Alberts.

You can use them anywhere on property. If you are staying at AS, I would recommend that you get your meals elsewhere...otherwise, you will not be getting the most for your money.
