I guess I win the prize for most cynical--as of now I'm the only one who voted, "Not at all, I don't even pay attention to them."
Actually, this is only true *before* I go. I'm perfectly happy to enjoy them while I'm there, but too many other factors play into when we decide to go.
(Also, I must admit that I feel like there will always be *something* Disney's celebrating? Am I too cynical?
)
For me, the place is magical under any circumstances!
