Hello all!! I promised my nephew a trip abroad once he turned 10. That was 3 years ago and we're getting close to heading across the pond. The plan started with a trip to London (since I had already been) and we figured, since we were close enough, we might as well hit Paris and DLP.
What I'd like to know is realistically, how much time should we plan for DLP?? We're looking at a 7 day vacation. Part of the time will be spent in London. Part of the time we'd like to spend in Paris. Another few days will be in DLP. I just don't know what we should plan for.
The current plans are that we will travel in late March/early April 2006. Is that a good time??
And finally...I just bought the "How to Speak French" program for the computer. If we know a little bit of French, will we do ok in the parks?? I don't want to be the "ugly American," but I don't know how much I'll be able to learn in 9 months. I just want to make sure I will be able to get around.
Thanks for all of your help!!
