Sorry it's taking me so long! Here's Day 1:
We woke up at 4:30 A.M. on June 30th (my birthday!), got to the airport around 6:00 A.M., and left the ground at 7:00 A.M. sharp!
We arrived in Orlando at 9:25 A.M. and headed straight to the Magical Express counter to check in! Have no worries anyone who is going to use Magical Express, it is running very smoothly now! We were in the airport for only 20-25 minutes! Then it was on the bus and straight to the Polynesian! We got there in less than an hour! The only complaint (and I do mean
ONLY complaint....for the entire trip!!!!!) was that we rode a Mears bus, not the "official" Magical Express bus, so no welcome video!
When we arrived at the Poly, our room was ready, so we headed to our longhouse (Aotearoa) It was perfect! We called the front desk to request a mini fridge, and we had it within 10 minutes! Incredible service!! One other thing to note, upon check-in, both of my sons recieved a free lanyard and pin! What a great start to a magical holiday! Now it was time to grab our backpack with our rain ponchos and head to the Magic Kingdom!
We rode the monorail (bliss!) to the MK and it started to rain just a little! Got Fast-Passes for Buzz Lightyear, then headed for the arcade next to Space Mountain to get out of the rain, which turned into a thoroughly drenching downpour!

After spending some time (and money!) in the arcade, we headed back to Main Street to walk around and do some shopping! I found my Herbie pin

, and I bougt my family and I those engraved name tags I'd heard about! They love em'!(score points for Amelia's Man!!) Now we went to Buzz! Just as much fun as we all remembered! Plus, I beat everyone senseless! I am
ruthless in there!
The Magical Moments parade was starting up so we went to check it out on our way to Haunted Mansion! My sons were taking pictures while I was filming the parade, and I swear Mickey pointed right at me! The video came out brilliant! We didn't need a Fast-Pass for Haunted Mansion, as the wait was less than 10 minutes! Haunted Mansion is
STILL my favorite attraction in the MK! And the carriage with the invisible horse bridled to it still gives me a shiver! It was raining off and on for the entire afternoon, so we were glad we brought our ponchos! We had some lunch and then walked it off by doing some shopping! We walked through the castle (which really looks better in person by the way!) and went into some of the shops there, including the shop right in the castle! I'll be perfectly honest with all of you here: My sons
LOVE to spend money!

We had a great time, and my DW found some Tinkerbell items!
Everyone started to get a bit run down, as we had all been up since 4:30 in the morning, so we headed back to the Poly for a swim and a refreshing Lapu-Lapu! Everything We'd heard about these wonderful concoctions was absolutely true....
EVERYTHING!! We all had a great swim in the pool, which is one of the best, if not THE best pools I've ever been in!
Next report will conclude Day one, when we went back to MK, and Day two!
Hope you enjoy thus far!!
