Do most people go into town and find fast food or at least cheaper restaurants? Also, where do parents stay when they help kids move down to the area? We don't want to take out a loan for the Disney College experience. Do the apartments have appliances like toasters and blenders? Also, how do kids get to working locations. The entire area is huge and it seems like transporting takes forever. (Of course, this is from tourist bus experience & staying at on-site hotel.). As you can see we have a lot of questions that are covered in the packets. Any info. you can share is appreciated.
I'm on the program right now. Here's what I can tell you. Every park and almost every resort has company cafeterias to eat at. They are reasonably priced, as I normally don't spend more than 8 dollars there for a meal and a drink. There are many fast food offerings near Vista/Chatham, so I doubt your son will ever be hurting for food! There are no toasters or blenders in the apartments, but they have everything else. The way most students get to their work locations are the bus system. We have our own bus system that takes us from our apartments to our work locations. I hope this helps. Any more questions, let me know!!
