Re: Need help deciding on buying DVC points

We bought into DVC in October 2003, at that time the price per point was a little cheaper...like $10 a point cheaper. We bought the minimum of 150 points, made a downpayment of 10% I believe and financed the rest for 10 years. So our monthly payment is $140 and our monthly dues are $35. We are at Saratoga Springs so we'll be vacationing for 50 years... We can take the interest paid on the note off of our taxes...not sure if you can do that in all states. It's a WIN-WIN-WIN situation. 10 years of vacations with payments w/ a tax deduction each year and then 40 years of vacations and fun after that!! Monthly dues continue through the entire 50 years, but hey, I can handle that!! My DSis tried to get us to buy in a few years ago, wish we would have then!
