I don't understand why not just give her her own money? I just quoted you, but I'm not singling you out, queensmama. I've heard lots of people say "I give them to my child so they have their own money".. why not just give them money?? I heard some other responses about it being a budgeting tool as to not overspend (which, if one gave their child money, that could been seen as budgeting as well), or giving as a gift, which makes sense to me, because it is taking an interest in the gift recipient and what they are going to do with it. I just don't understand when people say they give it to their children, instead of real money....why? Maybe I just don't get it cause i don't have children. But, if one loses disney dollars, they aren't replacable, so, it is like losing money.... please help me understand!! haha
