I was under the impression that it didn't matter where you bought the ears, you got the code. Did you take the receipt to the VMK store and ask them? They might have given you the code at that point... I dunno. From what I was told, they used to keep them behind all the cashiers stands, but apparently, they've started making you do certain things to get them, and not all the cashiers have them...
