I suspect it's because I filled out the application (for both of us) that was officially addressed to him.
So... make sure you are the primary cardholder before you call.

I had to comment on this....you just made me laugh so hard. My Mom has these issues with credit cards cause my Dad is the primary account name...You just sounded exactly like she does...sorry to interrupt this thread...just had to comment and giggle.
