Actually, all 5 of these places were purchased in the mid-90's, Hilton Head and Vero Beach were built, and then Disney decided not to expand beyond what they had, and at the time, probably a good idea. The Newport Beach land was sold to Marriott, and the Times Square property is now part of the ABC studios. For those who are interested, it has been reported that DVC has announced a future property at the Disneyland Resort, but there is nothing official to be found.
