If weather is the deciding factor, June is very hot, October would be better in that respect. For me, crowds are always the key issue and I always found long weekends to be packed in the resorts, but the end of June is quite busy as well. In this case the fact that would decide it for me has to be the ability to stay longer in June. We stayed 4 nights once and it just isn't long enough no matter what time of the year you go. Also, no homework to worry about. 6 nights in June!!!
