Last fall my husband and I took our grandkids and daughter and son-in-law to WDW. We stayed at AKL who did nothing for the birthdays but it was so special we didn't care. EVERYONE else in the parks helped us celebrate. When I was calling to make a dinner PS at Chef Mickey's for my birthday -- which by the way is Oct 14! -- there already fully booked. I casually mentioned that I was disappointed because it was my birthday and that's where we wanted to eat for our birthdays. She asked, "Birthday's?" I replied, "Yes, it's also my daughter's birthday." She said, "How old is your little girl?" I laughed and said that she would be 31! The woman on the phone helped me fill-up all my trip with PS's and asked me to call back to try again to get into Chef Mickey's. On the second call I made it! Guess they had a cancellation! :) :bandit :)

Then every restaurant we went to made a big deal out of our birthdays -- for the entire week! We never told anyone else. It was all because of the woman who helped me make the PS's. We always got cupcakes with sparkler candles, confetti, cards, singing, special attention -- which was great for our kids!:) :heart :)

There were lots of parents and grandparents -- and just plain old unescorted by children adults -- who were celebrating birthdays, anniversarys, Columbus Day, whatever!!!:)

ENJOY!!!!!!!:) :) :heart :) :)
