On a side note, we did our character breakfast the day we left WDW. It was a very pleasant end to a very pleasant trip. And it was nice to fill up on a great breakfast, knowing that we did not have to rush to a park, we were only going home after breakfast.
Plus it gave us some nice memories for the ride home.
I have friends who have said they have done a character dinner the 1st night, since there is no rush to leave the park, and it is a nice way to start a vacation at WDW.

This is exactly what we are doing, dinner the first night and breakfast the last day. I am looking forward to it so much.
