sharing a meal sounds like a good idea. don't try to rob the kid of experiencing fine dining at certain resteraunts because he doesn't eat much.

by the way, i remember a while back that when someone says "..eats like a bird" and means they really don't eat, it's the opposite. i can't remember where i heard this from but they said the birds do eat quite a bit of food. it just appears that they don't eat. for some reason, i wanna say sesame street, but i could be wrong.
