Twist is right, get there at opening. I like to hit FantasyLand first. Usually the carousel, then Dumbo. Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Snow White's Scary (hint, hint) Adventure are all right there. Then maybe head to the Matterhorn, passing the teacups (that are SO pretty at night). IF the park is really quiet maybe a tour of Storybook Land and Alice in Wonderland (but if some people don't want to do the M, some can do these two rides as they are nearby, or you can all come back later). After the Matterhorn, zip to Space Mountain and grab Fast Passes, and tour Tomorrowland. Ride SM and plant your group for an early-ish lunch and watch the crowds come in.

A hint for lunch-as I recall many places open about 11:30 for lunch. If you get in line about 11:10-11:15 at a place like Buzz'z or Redd's in TomorrowLand, The Hungry Bear in Critter Country, or the Golden Horseshoe, there should be plenty of seating for your whole crowd. The lines get longer the closer you get to 12noon, so keep that in mind.

After lunch I'd high tail it to Splash Mountain for some FP's (esp. if it's crowded). I'd ride Haunted Mansion, Pooh, do the character meet and greet if that interests you while waiting for your time (again, if you need to wait).

After Splash, maybe hit the big rides you missed (like Big Thunder, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Indiana - FPing one if you need to). Then make your way to It's a Small World, Toon Town and the Snow White show.

Leave for dinner and return to hit your favorites again and see the fireworks

If you do something like this together, and the crowd levels cooperate, then you'll have most of DL done, and you can go back for favorites later in the week. The next day you can spend a good bit of time in DCA, and return to DL easily enough when you're done.

bummer for us HM will be closed to start adding the decorations for Halloween...
