Just remember I said it was small.

We had just walked into the Magic Kingdom and we were on our way to ride BuzzLightyear. As we were making our way around we walked past a popcorn stand and I said good morning to the CM. She looked at McKayla in the stroller and started talking to her. Next thing I know she is asking how to spell McKayla and she begins to write her name on a certificate of the year of a million dreams. Of course I am all excited wondering what was next. Then she asked her if she would like some fresh popcorn, McKayla said yes and she gave her the certificate and the popcorn. McKayla was happy to have popcorn at 9:30 in the morning and ate on it all day and I was happy that even though it was a small dream, she got a dream on her first trip to WDW and a certificate to remember it always.

AND NOW........what made the rest of us happy

It was again at the MK. It was a little after 4:00 and we had dinner reservations at LTT at 4:00 - we were late. It was a MNSSHP night and we were going to the party after dinner. As we are trying to quickly get to dinner a cast member stops us half way down main street and wants to talk to us. He tells us that we are just the family that they are looking for and asks us to be in the new "Family Fun Day Parade"! We are so excited, we have always wanted to be in a parade and now they want us.

NOTE: McKayla wanted to be JoJo for the party. I got her outfit at the Disney Store on line. I then made us all JoJo t-shirts so we would all match. That was what we were wearing when we walked in.

Brenda, Carissa and I are all so excited and Andy says what about dinner? I said - "forget dinner we are going to be in a parade". We were the banner family. They showed us how to wave our banners and we walked with Clarabelle Cow. It is a small parade on Main Street but it was still a parade and we were in it! We walked and waved our banners proud. When we got to the front we turned in our banners for American flags and we all waved them in a salute to the red, white and blue. It was so much fun.

All night long CM's and guests told us hello and yelled hello JoJo's to us as we walked around the park. Everyone wanted to know where we got our shirts. I was the only one in the restroom when a women came up to me and told me that she loved our outfits and how nice our family was. A little boy asked Andy for his autograph. It was so much fun.

So McKayla got a wish and we marched in a parade! It was great!
