Re: Disneyland Hotels or Good Neighbor Hotels

I second (or third? ) the nomination for Red Roof Inn, if you are looking for something basic, cheap and comfortable. We have stayed there several times and for how much $$ you save, the little extra walk it is absolutely worth it! You can usually snag a room there for $55-$65 per night.

Candy Cane Inn is beautiful, and a slightly (very slightly) shorter walking distance than the Red Roof. Rooms there will probably run you upwards of $90.

If there's any chance you are willing to drive (or take the Anaheim Resort Transit) versus walk, I do highly recommend giving Priceline a try. As DH said, we managed to get the Anaheim Hilton for $50/night. We used the ART buses and never had a problem, they were quick and convenient, and we went back to a gorgeous hotel every night with extra money in our pockets!
