Re: Disneyland Hotels or Good Neighbor Hotels

I stayed at the Embassy Suites...The hotel was very nice but the parking fees and the shuttle rides were a hassle.

We have NEVER had a problem with either the Carosel or the Tropicana. They are both good neighbor hotels on Harbor and nearly EXACTLY across the street from DLR. We have stayed at each one many times over the past 5 years and they are great on the wallet. If you use the hotel room like we do (basically a place to sleep when we are not in the park) then they are perfect for that.

Both have a basic comp. breakfast available (rolls, cereal, oatmeal, milk juices, muffins, ect). Because we go often, we can not afford to go to one of the DLR hotels every time. Those two good neighbor hotels have always served us VERY well.
