ok, I think I found the answer on the disney website:

"The Disney Dreams Giveaway (the "Giveaway") provides participants with the chance to win prizes starting on October 1, 2006 and ending on December 31, 2007 (the "Giveaway Period"). "

So, our chances for winning something awesome are still available next trip! Hurray! I am assuming these dates are for the parks prizes, not something else!
