Re: Last minute ADRs
Thanks Kim & emamasa! It's all figured out now.
I did just what you suggested Kim and called WDW dining, got the most helpful and friendly lady and she got me all set up. Our first night we have an ADR at The Plaza and our last night we have one at The Grand Floridian Cafe. Both ressies are for right around 5:00, which is perfect for my kids. If we get too close to 6:00 they will be too hungry and get very grumpy.
I also made a reservation for Marrakesh for one of the nights. Originally we had this on our list but then changed it for Coral Reef, so I'm very happy to have a chance to get to try it.
So here is what we have for our dinner ADRs:
The Plaza
Whispering Canyon
Le Cellier
Wofgang Puck Cafe
Coral Reef
Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package
Tony's
Chef Mickey (breakfast)
Marrakesh
Grand Floridian
Dh had been saying to relax about the ADRs, we're on vacation and shouldn't worry about too much of a schedule. I would like to agree with him, because I don't love having to be somewhere at a certain time while on vacation, but I knew from this board that if we didn't have them we would be in trouble. I'm so happy, and relieved, to have an ADR for each night. If something changes and we don't want to go we can cancel, but I don't think I will. There is no way I want to cancel just to wait in line for another restaurant somewhere else. Plus, I like all of the menus at all of our restaurant choices.
I'm so excited. My ADRs are made, the bags are about 2/3rds packed --we're almost ready to go.
Tuesday morning will be here soon ...
Kathy
