If you get chilly at night, you could get away with a pair of capris and a sweatshirt you buy somewhere along the trip (either in Hawaii or at DL
). Jeans might be a bit warmer, but no need to haul them all that way 'just in case'--I have been a bit chilly at night in capris, in August no less, but I lived
. Now if you're horsebackriding in Hawaii, those jeans will come in handy there as well and it might be worth the 6k mile haul from NJ, lol.
