We get to the resort about 1pm, Port Orleans Riverside, but alas, out rooms are not ready early.
We have 5pm dinner reservations for the Hoop Dee Do Review over at Fort Wilderness. We hop back in the car and head on over . . . man it is HOT! We park, and catch a bus, which takes us to the main outpost of the campground. We head over to the stables where all the Parade horses are kept, hoping to get a glimpse of Cinderella’s 8 white horses, rumble, rumble . . . and it wasn’t our stomach . . . the skies blacken and the clouds roll in fast . . . we run for cover and end up . . . where else, but the GIFT SHOP . . . and it starts to POUR . . . sheet rain . . . WOW! We trade pins with cast members, make a few purchases . . . squash a few pennies, man will this rain ever STOP? Finally, $100 poorer it lets up . . . whew, just in time, the kids were getting antsy and I was going to go BROKE!!
AND IT'S ONLY DAY ONE!!!
