That is so terrific! Can you tell me, had you been to WDW without the wheelchair before, and if so, how much more difficult was it with the chair? If we take our whole family again, it will likely be with one wheelchair or a scooter this time, and I was curious about which to get. I think the independence of the scooter might be good.

I had an ECV (scooter) last May and it was great. I'm one of the not-so obvious wheelchair people, I'm 37 , appear perfectly healthy but have Lupus and can't walk for extended periods of time. That ECV made my whole trip possible. Busses were convenient to get on, some rides let you in on them and you can wait in most ride cues in them. I rented from an outside company and had it for the whole week, very convenient.
