I honestly DON'T think they are "allowed" to have them on their lanyards. ALTHOUGH, I have a feeling many CMs just don't realize, pay attention to, or really know what they are perhaps. When I traded with the Fireman on Main Street he gave me a "mystery" pin which turned out to be Sedesma and he said "Awww, you got a cute pooh." He had NO clue.
Although, I am NOT EVEN a pin aficienado and I can spot a fake from a mile away. Maybe I have a good trained eye from bag spotting.
The Sedesma ones are CHEAP looking plastic, generally smaller, paint even looks chipped off sometimes, and the sell for like $.50 each on eBay.
