We were there!!! The statues are really fun! Michael Eisner was there for the big unveiling as well as lots of press coverage. Surprisingly the park wasn't crowded at all. I was also quite surprised at how few people even knew what the statues were for. One big perk... they had an unannounced early opening. We got there at about 8:45 and went right in. Too bad we weren't there earlier! My DD's b-day is the 19th. I went in the hospital to have her on the 18th but she missed Mickey's b-day by 3 hours! It was fun celebrating at Magic Kingdom and seeing the statues.
