Hello - this request is for fellow DVC members. I need some help with a situation, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I made a reservation for some friends for last November. One week prior to the vacation, the mom found out she needed surgery during her pregnancy (due early Feb). We needed to cancel the reservation and the points landed in holding.

They would like to reschedule this trip for 4/20-4/26, needing about 180 points for a 2BR, any resort. I understand why DVC has rules, but this wasn't done on a whim. The points expire the end of May.

Can anyone help? I am willing to exchange points, etc. I have checked with my DVC rep and we haven't come up with anything beyond the kindness of others.
