It's probably b/c it's SUCH a huge resort to fill & they've offered A LOT of incentives to buy there; like double points on your 1st year, big referral discounts, etc. I like SSR but if I would have known that AKV were coming next I would have 100% without a doubt waited. AKL is my favorite Disney resort EVER and when I joined it was hardly even a rumor yet.
I am just thankful to be a member & able to go as often as we do!
