That is interesting! I got to stay in one of those bungalows ONCE, it was probably around 91-92 because one of my best friend's Dads was a huge golf nut & the courses are right there. It was cool, but nothing overly impressive as I can recall. There wasn't a whole lot of theming, just nicely appointed. I almost remember it feeling like a non-Disney timeshare on Disney property. If I look hard enough I might be able to find a pic or two.
I hope they are able to turn that whole area into something, it's such a huge space & it's a waste if they are just sitting around. I thought I had heard that some international cast members were living there but once a CM told me that Regis Philbin stays there when he comes to WDW b/c of the privacy!
Who knows if what you hear is true, but it's interesting.
