I think it will be fairly high. On the 19th you will be fighting with all of the business people trying to get home before the holidays and people starting their vacations early, although I don't think waiting until the weekend would be much better as vacations will be starting.
If you could postpone your return until the 25th that probably would save some money. For obvious reasons it is a light travel day.
