ANIMAL KINGDOM
As far as AK goes I always feel like a Petunia in the Onion Patch (did I really say that??? or is my grandmother controlling my mind from beyond?

)
Because I LOVE the Animal Kingdom - and so many don't. I don't know why they don't - it's filled with animals. What can be more loveable than animals?
So, my thoughts on Animal Kingdom:
Kilomanjaro Safaris is way more fun when the animals co-operate - DO YOU HEAR THAT CHEETAHS? YOU TOO, LIONS... Both were actually up and moving around - so my suspicions that they were really clever animatronics have been dashed....
The Safari is way more fun when your driver is certifiable (though not necessarily for a jeep

) - and ours was - but in the nicest way possible. I'm sure I bounced 2 pounds off each thigh. Thanks Sid from South Africa!
Be patient - Finding Nemo: The Musical is worth the wait.
Watching a baby antelope leap for joy just for the sake of leaping for joy is a great way to spend 10 minutes
Three Simbas to the great CM at Everest who speeded us non-fastpass holders through the fastpass line at the end of the day!
The Jim-Jammin' Parade is Jim-Jammin' terrific (and possibly every second family in America gets to be in it).
In a former life I was a tiger.
Why do McDonald's French Fries taste better in Disney?
I wonder if The Dig has ever swallowed up a kid...
When it rains you get wetter in the AK than anywhere else..
There are times when the bats should be discreetly curtained

just sayin' (and that little 4 year old girl's father - "But what are they DOING Daddy?" - agrees with me)
The Bald Eagle is really quite beautiful....hence "bald is beautiful"
Stop and watch the storytellers in Asia - like stopping to smell the roses.
Guanno Joe is cool.
Why am I always afraid "we're not going to make it! we're not going to make it! - but we always do...
Real meerkats are just as cute as cartoon ones.
The "Circle of Life" still makes me cry

And if you can't sit in the Simba section at Festival of The Lion King, just don't go.
Have you had a Crocodilian today?
