I have a tattoo on my lower back and I mean lower. It's a hart with scrolls on both sides. The guy that done mine told me that the smaller the tattoo the more it hurts b/c of the detail and they are in one spot longer. Also the color hurt less than the black b/c it doesn't go in as far. So don't not get color b/c you think it will hurt to much. I hate needles to but I love my tattoo. I also have two kids and this did not hurt as bad. I say get it only if you want it.
