Mouse Goddess, maybe I didn't say what I was thinking clearly: It is my opinion Disney provides more security that the real world. They do more than your local PD. As a matter of fact, local jurisdictions you see installing video cameras on roof tops? Guess where the concept was perfected? Yep, WDW.

Incidents will happen. Personally, I don't want to see a cop/security guard at every ride, on every corner. But that's just me, I'm silly like that.

Disney is obligated to provide a safe venue, but not guarantee a crime free zone. That is impossible.
